Heavy Duty Pallet truck

The heavy duty pallet truck is the perfect solution for handling unconventional loads. These devices are designed and produced by PTB in the Netherlands. Every heavy duty pallet truck is made basedon customer requirements. The devices can handle materials from 1 to 60 tons (1.000 - 60.000 kg). The PTB heavy duty pallet truck is 100% electric and is easy-to-use. Controlling the device works just like regular electric pallet trucks, though can be adjusted and expanded.

The PTB heavy pallet duty truck can effortlessly move materials such as pallets, coils, paper rolls, airport pallets, dies and machinery. The options for the load carriage range from the traditional forks, to coil forks, multiple forks, a platform or an entirely new concept. Example: 10 ton in a level position

For a customer from Thailand, we built two heavy duty pallet trucks, with 10,5 ton load capacity each. The trucks were designed to carry pallets with 10.500 kg of cargo into a shipping container. This had to be done by driving over a dock leveler, which often stands in an 11.5 degree angle. Driving over such a steep slope into a cargo container requires some serious power, yet the truck also has to be relatively small. A regular high capacity forklift would be too massive for this job. Another request was to design a system which keeps the cargo level when driving over the slope.
