10 ton pallet truck

A 10 ton pallet truck is a great alternative for a conventional diesel forklift. In practice, many companies use large forklifts for tasks that could be done by a PTB pallet truck or stacker. The 10 ton pallet truck is driven by one or more electromotors and powered by a battery.

10 ton in a level position

For a customer from Thailand, we have built two versions of the EPS105, which is a pallet truck with a lifting capacity of 10,5 ton. The trucks were designed to carry pallets with 10.500 kg of cargo into a shipping container. The carrying had to be done by driving over a dock leveler that often stands in a 11.5 degree angle. Driving over such a steep slope into a cargo container requires some serious power, yet the truck also had to be relatively small. A regular high capacity forklifttruck would have been too massive for this job. Another requirement was to design a system that keeps the cargo level when driving over the slope.
