Custom electric stacker for EirGen in Ireland

PTB has developed a special stacker for EirGen Pharma in Ireland, the PTB ESD15. This stacker will be used by EirGen to transport bulk containers at their location in Waterford. EirGen's facility in Waterford develops pharmaceutical solutions; this factory specializes in the development of products for cancer treatment. 

The ESD15 can lift up to 1500 kilograms of cargo up to 1200 millimeters, what makes the machine special is its special fork carriage which has been constructed from stainless steel. EirGen needs the forks to be made from stainless steel because the machine will be used in a special cleanroom inside their facility. 

During the development of the ESD15 PTB focused on modular engineering. By switching to modular engineering PTB can quickly supply its clients with a blueprint for a machine. The client can choose several types of bodies, motors, carriages and driver modules.
