Electric pallet truck for the storage of estate boxes

Transport company Brinks needed a large means of transport for its moving & storage department. The machine was needed to stack estate chests. PTB developed a special agile pallet truck. This makes it easy to store the estate chests in bulk. With the pallet truck, Brinks saves on both storage space and space to move around.

The storage of estate chests

Brinks Transport handles national and international relocations for companies and private individuals. Customers' belongings are often stored in estate chests for a short or longer period of time. An estate chest has a size of roughly 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 meters.

Looking for an alternative

Storage space is expensive. This especially applies to heated storage spaces. By stacking two, three or four estate chests, Brinks can save many square meters of space. A large forklift was needed to stack the boxes. The disadvantage of a forklift is that it takes up a lot of room to maneuver. Brinks therefore needed an alternative.

Space saving

A pallet truck requires a lot less space than a forklift with the same capacity. PTB Special Products therefore developed the EPD60; an electric pallet truck with a lifting capacity of 6 tons. With this means of transport, the estate chests can easily be stored in bulk. By stacking the boxes with the pallet truck, Brinks not only saves on storage space, but also on maneuvering space.

Various lifting capacities

The pallet truck is available in various capacities. Depending on the required capacity and the weight of the load, choose a pallet truck with a lifting capacity of 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 tons.
