Moving high-tech components at CNIM

CNIM supplies high-tech components to large industrial companies worldwide. CNIM meticulously manufactures and processes large and heavy components before the final processing takes place in a cleanroom. CNIM's clients span the electronic, lithographic, environmental, and defense industries.

Heavy Load

The company sought a customized transport solution capable of precisely maneuvering these large and heavy machine parts within a cleanroom. The loads have dimensions of 4 x 3 meters and can weigh up to thirteen thousand kilograms.

Use in a Cleanroom

Through a major Dutch contact in the lithographic industry, CNIM turned to PTB Special Products. The EPD130 was custom-built at PTB and prepared for use in a cleanroom meeting ISO 4 level requirements.

Remote Monitoring

PTB delivered the pallet truck to the CNIM factory in La Seyne sur Mer (near Toulon). Using the internet, PTB can remotely monitor machines. PTB can also detect malfunctions and adjust parameters if necessary. For mechanical maintenance, PTB Special Products collaborates with a regional specialist in the field of internal transport.
