SAG Counterweight Stacker

In 2019, PTB Special Products developed a counterweight stacker for SAG Netherlands. As a part of the Austrian SAG Group, the company focuses on producing aluminum products for the global automotive industry, such as fuel tanks.

Tank Inspection

PTB's counterweight stacker operates in the shipping department where tanks are inspected and prepared for shipment. Aluminum tanks are vulnerable due to their size and shape. When forklifts are used in the shipping department, product damage can quickly occur.

However, the PTB machine is small, agile, and easy to maneuver. Its agility allows it to be operated without causing damage.

Easy Lifting, Driving, and Steering

The parameters for lifting, driving, and steering the PTB machines can be quickly and precisely adjusted to the user's preferences. This is the advantage of a "custom-made" machine. The PTB counterweight stacker is easy to operate and can be used by any employee.

Tilting Mast

SAG's counterweight stacker is also equipped with a tilting mast. This allows the product to lean against the mast during transport and prevents it from slipping off the forks, helping to prevent damage to the product.

Lifting Capacity and Power Steering

The lifting capacity of the counterweight stacker is 800 kg, with a lifting height of 1,600 mm. The machine also features electric power steering.

Customized Products

PTB manufactures counterweight stackers with lifting capacities ranging from 500 to 2.500 kg, and even heavier if desired. It is possible to customize a machine with masts in various configurations and lifting heights, with or without mast tilting.

There are models where the operator can walk alongside the machine and models where the machine can be operated in a standing or seated position.
