Transporting heavy machine parts at ASML with the DP130

ASML is one of the world's most important companies in the semiconductor industry. To transport heavy chip machine parts in a cleanroom, the company approached PTB Special Products to develop a powerful pallet truck.

Heavy load

To accurately maneuver large and heavy machine parts in a cleanroom, ASML needed a special pallet truck. PTB developed the DP130; a unique, compact pallet truck with a lifting capacity of 13 tons. The machine has long and wide forks covered with a layer of stainless steel.

Use in a cleanroom

The DP130 was custom built at PTB and prepared for use in a cleanroom. The cleanroom pallet truck has precisely tailored forks and is equipped with a stainless steel cladding. The compact pallet truck is ideal for maneuvering heavy products in a cleanroom, where space is at a premium.
