Designing a solid means of transport with a large lifting capacity. Alfen was looking for a special machine that could easily move the large, heavy transformer stations.
PTB developed the EPD300G; a pallet truck with a platform of three meters long and a lifting capacity of 30 tons. The machine has a robust design and is agile. These features make the pallet truck able to move heavy transformer stations with ease.
The EPD300G is ideal for moving heavy parts such as transformer stations, wind turbine parts or heavy tools and moulds. This platform truck is controlled with a drawbar. This type of transport is also available with sit or stand control.
In addition to drawbar steering, the platform truck is also equipped with radio control. This makes it possible to control the platform truck extremely accurately. The desired operation is easy to set with a selector switch.
