Madern International BV is a manufacturer of high-quality machines with rotating molds with rotational feed, mainly for the packaging industry. Madern sells these machines worldwide. High-quality custom transport machines are used to change the molds in the machines. Madern regularly contacts PTB for these transport machines.
Developing a means of transport that is suitable for a broad application. The machine must be suitable for moving heavy moulds, which must not be damaged during transport.
A 20-ton pallet truck with ride-on steering. From the control console the operator can control all functions of the machine. The lifting stroke is electronically limited. To prevent the molds from being damaged, the load platform is equipped with a shock absorber and guide strips.
PTB often supplies 15-ton pallet trucks to Madern. This time Madern opted for a 20-ton pallet truck, because a wider application of the pallet truck is required. The EPS200 has now been delivered. At PTB we are proud of the result!
The load platform is equipped with a shock absorber at the front and plastic guide strips on the sides. The front is also equipped with plastic side articulation rollers. The shock absorber and the guide strips and rollers ensure that the machine is guided to the correct position for lifting without damaging the rotation dies.
