Elantas Europe GmbH is a leading manufacturer of insulating and protective chemical materials for the global electrical and electronics industry and is part of the international ELANTAS Group. The company develops and produces a wide range of chemical solutions, including impregnating resins, insulating varnishes, coatings and specialty chemicals for industrial applications. Elantas required a solution for transporting and precisely positioning heavy containers into a pressing installation (Auspressvorrichtung). The challenge was not only the total load weight of approximately 4,000 kg, but above all the accuracy during positioning. The containers, with a diameter of 1,200 mm, must be placed perfectly vertical in the installation to avoid damage, product loss and process disruptions.
PTB Special Products designed and built a 4-ton custom stacker with forged forks that perfectly meets our customer’s operational and safety requirements. Thanks to the proportional controls, the operator can position the load with great precision and control, both when lifting and tilting, to a height of up to 1,200 mm. This is crucial for a safe and efficient workflow at Elantas.
With this custom stacker, Elantas now has a safe, reliable and highly precise solution for handling and positioning heavy industrial containers. The stacker supports efficient and controlled operation in accordance with the high safety and accuracy standards of the chemical industry.
