PTB is an abbreviation for "Pot & Ter Borgh", which are the two surnames of the founders. Both gentlemen founded the company in 1897. Read more about PTB and its history on this page.
Because all of our equipment is custom-made, the controls are tailored to your needs as well. The equipment can be equipped with a traditional tiller handle or seated position, up to remotely and automatically guided.
A pallet truck is a device for the horizontal transportation of goods on pallets. These machines are generally equipped with two forks, which can be used for lifting pallets. Besides pallets, goods such as dies, coils and frames can be moved with a pallet truck. Vertical transportation requires a different type of equipment such as a stacker or forklift.
Stacker trucks are made for transporting pallets from A to B, as well as lifting and storing goods in vertical positions. Stackers are typically equipped with two forks for lifting pallets. The custom stackers designed by PTB can also feature a thorn for lifting coils, multiple forks, a platform and more.
Tow tractors are vehicles commonly used for the transportation of goods on wheels. These devices are used to tow trailers and aircraft. The custom-made tow tractors designed and produced by PTB can tow multiple trailers at the same time.
