Control methods

Finding a method to move your goods safely and efficiently is the starting point of every project. The next step is to choose a control method for the device.

Which methods are available?

A variety of options are available, ranging from the traditional walk along operation by controlling the device by means of a tiller handle, to radio controlled guidance. The following list describes the various control methods. Click the links for more information about a specific type of operation.

Walk along: for the transportation of materials over short distances.

Ride-on: for short to medium distances, limiting human effort.

Stand-on: for medium distances, both forward and backwards, with the operation embarking and disembarking the vehicle frequently.

Sit-on: for the transportation of materials over long distances.

Combination: for a variety of activities, ranging from short to long distances. The operator has the option to either sit or stand.

Miscellaneous: for methods by which the operator is not in direct contact with the device, but uses an automatic or radio controlled method.
