Example: 20 ton heavy duty platform truck for transformers

This tailor-made platform truck was designed to carry transformers through a production facility. The truck features a common tiller-handle for a walk-along operation. A camera is installed in the front of the platform and a screen is installed near the drive controls, for better visibility when carrying transformers.

Example: 15 ton heavy duty platform truck

PTB designed two of these EPS150 platform trucks, for a factory in the United States and in Mexico. These trucks are designed to lift an move special rotary dies in and out of production lines. The platforms are specifically designed for carefully picking up these dies, with a low initial height, guide rollers and shock absorbers.

The trucks are powered by maintenance-free electric AC-motors. The operator controls the platform truck by means of a control handle, which the driver operates while standing on a platform.
