For a machine manufacturer, PTB has developed an 8-ton pallet truck with an integrated weighing system.

Transportation of Grinding Machines

Timesavers is a producer of large belt sanding and belt grinding machines for deburring and finishing sheet metal. As the machines are becoming increasingly larger and heavier, Timesavers needed a heavier pallet truck within the factory in Goes. The choice was made for an 8-ton pallet truck from PTB.

Integrated Weighing Scales

This 8-ton pallet truck is built to lift heavy machines and weigh them simultaneously. With the integrated weighing scales in the forks, this 8-ton pallet truck can register the weight of the load in real-time. The data can be printed with a built-in printer. The machine has two-meter-long forks with an insertion height of 1,200 mm and is used for the transportation of grinding machines to and from the shipping area.
